Company: Austin Heart Case Study: see detailed case study
Challenge: Austin Heart is the largest provider of cardiology services in Central Texas. The Austin Heart Education Department in Austin was in need of an online Continuing Medical Education System, one of the only cardiology CME systems in Texas. Their needs included an all-inclusive system for recording presentations, uploading the presentations to the newly designed website, and accepting credit cards for payment upon viewing the CME online presentations.
Solution: Solutions DeBellas was able to develop the perfect system for Austin Heart's needs, plus more. We developed a complete back-end database-driven application that allows Austin Heart employees to update their website with presentations, tests, and content in their own offices, with no need to hire a programmer. They are also able to view a number of reports. Doctors can register; log-in; pay for and view educational multimedia Flash presentations; take a test; fill out an evaluation; and receive a completion certificate. more information

Challenge: Irene wanted a site that would make her deck refinishing business stand out. She wanted a place where people could go to see past projects. Also, she wanted to be able to update the site easily to add the new projects.
Solution: We designed and implemented the attractive site that Irene wanted, and also provided her with an administrative area, where her employees can login and make changes to the site quickly and easily. They can add testimonials and projects, change email addresses, modify content, and more. |

Company: Auction Bin
Challenge: Auction Bin needed a tool that checks Quickbooks to see if a vendor exists, and if it does, the tool create that vendors in Quickbooks. The tool also creates a Quickbooks bill and for that vendor, and all of this is done automatically.
Solution: The standalone application was created in C# using .NET and synchronized Quickbooks with the clients MySQL database on the web. |

Company: Ambassador Personnel Services Project Site: www.austinpersonnel.com
Challenge: Ambassador Personnel Services needed a site that would make them stand out from other staffing companies in Texas. Also, they needed their site integrated with eEmpact.
Solution: From scratch, we designed the 3D homepage using 3dsMax and Macromedia Flash. We designed the rest of the site as well, utilizing Flash for maximum impact. The look stands out, and is also very professional. We configured and setup eEmpact's resume form, which synchronizes with eEmpact. We also setup Citrix access from their site and configured their in-house Citrix server. With Citrix setup, we installed the eEmpact administration software, through which Ambassador Personnel Service's clients can login and manage their eEmpact account. |

Company: Biophysical Corporation
Challenge: Biophysical is an cutting-edge, burgeoning company, which needed to get the word out about their exceptionally exciting assessment tool, Biophysical250, which provides the single most comprehensive evaluation of an individual's health by measuring 250 different biochemical markers. Biophysical needed online continuing medical education (CME) on their site so they could share with other doctors the benefits of Biophysical250.
Solution: Solutions DeBellas was able to install our online CME software, and customize it to Biophysical's needs. Challenge: Code Four sells customized athletic apparel for sports teams and other enthusiasts; so, they needed an ecommerce site with management which was extremely flexible. For example, Code Four's customers need the ability to purchase soccer jerseys for the whole team on one page.
Solution: For this ecommerce project, we installed and configured osCommerce, the leading Open Source online shop ecommerce solution, and customized the look and feel using their artist's html. We also drastically customized osCommerce to meet the Code Four requirements. This included adding the ability for clients to order many different types of a product on one page, by choosing size, color, and quantity from a number of ordering rows for each product. |

Solution: Clients fill out information, including credit card info from secure pages on their site. We created a MySQL database which stores the information, until it is exported into Excel for importing into QuickFill. The process was tested and streamlined before ever being implemented. |

Challenge: Brothers Real Estate Consultants, a realtor specializing in Waterfront properties in the Northwest, needed an attractive site that would showcase waterfront properties and water bodies in the Northwest. The realtor also requested that listings would appear as links on a state map, which would take the user to the appropriate listing.
Solution: Using Java Server Pages and MySQL, Solutions DeBellas designed and implemented a complete content management system based around water bodies in the Northwest. Employees can now manage property and water body pages using a simple, yet powerful, back-end content management system that allows them to add pictures, upload 360° Virtual Tours, and insert specific information for each listing. Challenge: Outdoor Empire Publishing, Inc., which has served outdoor recreationists in the United States for almost 45 years, supplying fishing, boating, hunting, trapping, snowmobiling, bicycling, ATV use, pedestrian and traffic safety materials and visual aids that teach outdoor skills to last a lifetime, needed a site to offer their publications online. Company: Pagewise Corporation
Challenge: PageWise Corporation needed a website that would enable consumers to drag and drop charms onto a bracelet at the top of the screen, to create three different bracelets at a time, and to email charms and bracelets to friends.
Solution: We implemented the entire charm site, except the checkout pages, from scratch, including a back-end administrative interface that allows content managers to add categories and charm names, images and descriptions. There is an internal search capability as well. The site has been so successful for PageWise Corporation, they have decided to make it their sole venture for product distribution in the future. The My Italian Charms site was implemented using Microsoft .NET technology and SQL Server. |

Challenge: Quality of Touch is an online solution for massage professionals and their clients. This service provides business tools that free the therapist to focus on their practice, such as accepting credit cards, scheduling appointments. Quality of Touch was in the beginning of their development and needed expertise on credit card transactions, security, other web development.

Challenge: Salons and Barbers is a startup, dot-com company, which wanted their site to allow stylists to schedule appointments with clients online. One of many features they wanted was for the client to be able to look up a stylist by zip code. Also, they wanted appointments to be imported into Outlook or other calendar. They wanted a complete solution for stylists, and they chose Solutions DeBellas to complete the entire project.

Company: Risk Control Services, Inc. Project Site: www.staffingwrcs.com
Challenge: RCS would like to develop a site where their client companies can visit and receive marketing information about the RCS/ASA certification program and calculate fees estimates. Also, companies will be able to fill out an application online, which starts the certification process. Application data will be stored in a relational database, and RCS will be able to generate reports from this data. After the company is certified, RCS will be able to give the company access to their secure area, where they can access their WRC toolkit, logo, generated certificate, and other resources. Also, all locations, entered by the company, will be added to the public directory, which will be searchable by zipcode and sorted by distance.
Solution: Solutions DeBellas is currently completing phase two of this site and has already completed the client-side. We implemented the database in MySQL, the world's most popular open source database, and programmed the site in PHP, chosen as the server-side language because of its ease of implementation, and wide-spread use and availability, translating to lower development cost and faster development. |
